PDA calls on the new government to support an NHS that is fit for all

The NHS turns 76 today, which also coincides with the announcement of the results of the general election. To mark the day, the PDA is asking the incoming government to invest in and reform the NHS to enhance patient care.

House of Commons Health and Social Care Committee agree pharmacy students should be included in the NHS Learning Support Fund

The PDA’s Fair Funding campaign was launched November 2023 to ask the government to include pharmacy students in the NHS Learning Support Fund (LSF), a supplementary fund that supports healthcare students in England throughout their pre-registration undergraduate or postgraduate studies.

New policy supports NHS employees who have experienced pregnancy or baby loss

NHS Employers Disability Summit 2023

PDA member and pharmacist clinical writer, Sandra Hicks attended the virtual NHS Employers Disability Summit 2023 from 29 to 30 November 2023. The annual Disability Summit provided an opportunity for those working in the healthcare sector to lead the change and tackle inequality in the workplace. Sandra has reflected on her experience of the summit and what she learned while there.
