• Attending London Pride 2022

• Scottish Union Learning announce work, disability and social justice course

  The PDA Ability Network is pleased to promote a learning programme designed to bring people together from across the Scottish trade union movement to broadly reflect on work, disability, and social justice for future action. 

• The PDA sign the Disability Employment Charter

  The PDA have joined over with 100 organisations including charities, trade unions and others to sign the Disability Employment Charter, a document that provides government with a road map for change as it develops the next phases of its National Disability Strategy.  

• PDA LGBT+ Network praise the introduction of pronoun badges at LloydsPharmacy

  The PDA LGBT+ Network has welcomed the news that LloydsPharmacy has introduced personal pronouns on name badges and are encouraging colleagues to wear them.  

• PDA BAME Network launches Anti-racist Pharmacy Toolkit

  The PDA BAME Committee officially launched the Anti-Racist Pharmacy Toolkit, which was announced at the 2022 Clinical Pharmacy Congress.  

• NAWP supports the 16th European Women Pharmacists Meeting

  The PDA National Association of Women Pharmacists (NAWP) Network are encouraging participation in the 16th European Women pharmacists Meeting (EWPM) which will be held in Muenster, Germany on 3 September 2022.

• PDA to host Anti-racist Pharmacy Toolkit launch event

  Last year, PDA BAME Network members raised concerns of racism still prevalent in pharmacy in a survey and during the 'No more tick boxes' event. In response, the PDA BAME committee is launching the PDA Anti-Racist Pharmacy Toolkit this summer to help members lead change in the workplace.  

• PDA BAME Network delivers inspiring session at CPC 2022

  Last month, the PDA BAME Network hosted a panel session at CPC titled ‘PDA members leading change for an anti-racist pharmacy sector’. The session was attended by PDA BAME Network members, a diverse audience of pharmacists, and healthcare professionals.
