• PDA reminds members of the importance of appropriate monitoring when prescribing medication for ADHD

  Today marks the start of ADHD Awareness Month. As a growing number of members are working in ADHD clinics providing monitoring and dose titration, the PDA is taking this opportunity to alert members of the need to monitor patients carefully in accordance with NICE guidance when titrating doses upwards. 

• Agreement reached between Boots and the PDA Union in settlement of the 2025 pay talks for Pharmacists

  Following productive discussions between Boots and the PDA Union negotiating teams, both parties are pleased to announce that an agreement has been reached in relation to this year’s pay claim, effective from 1 November 2025.

  Earlier this month, the PDA's 'Medicines To’ campaign was recognised as Healthcare Innovation of the Year at the C&D Awards. The ‘Medicines To’ campaign raises the public’s awareness of pharmacists’ vital skills in humanitarian work and raises funds for regions of the world impacted by crises.
