PDA celebrates 50 years of Health and Safety at work

The Health and Safety at Work Act (HSWA) was given royal assent on 31 July 1974. It is estimated that since then more than 14,000 workplace fatalities have been avoided due to the subsequent reduction and removal of workplace risks.

Appeals process for candidates that sat the registration assessment in June 2024

PDA responds to NHS pay announcement

The PDA welcomes the announcement from Chancellor Rachel Reeves that the recommendations of the NHS Pay Review Body (PRB) will be accepted in full, and pharmacists employed on NHS Agenda for Change (AfC) terms and conditions will receive a pay increase of 5.5%.
