The NHSPRB provides independent advice on the pay of NHS staff to the:

  • Secretary of State for Health and Social Care
  • First Minister and Cabinet Secretary for Health and Social Care in Wales

PDA supports Inclusive Pharmacy Practice Week 2025

Inclusive Pharmacy Practice (IPP) Week is taking place from Monday 24 to Thursday 27 November. We are proud to be supporting the week and will also be co-hosting a workshop covering racism, harassment and more in the workplace.IPP is a joint initiative which was set up by NHS England and 15 other pharmacy organisations, including ourselves.

IPP focuses on making the workplace more inclusive for pharmacy professionals, with a senior leadership that reflects pharmacy’s diverse communities, to improve health inequalities. It involves open conversations and meaningful actions to improve the experience of both patients and pharmacy professionals.

The initiative encourages engagement with local communities, helping to improve their health, and addressing the inequalities that people – particularly those from ethnically diverse backgrounds – can experience. For example, Covid-19 had a disproportionate impact on people from ethnically diverse backgrounds.

This is, of course, a particularly busy time of year with flu season upon us, and many pharmacists are providing vaccinations alongside these other services, often with targets attached.
